4232 EXCITER L/C RADIATOR KIT
1. Drain cooling system. Remove tool box and tool box hold down strap. Drill one 5/16" hole in the tool box mounting pad in the location shown in fig. 1
2. Mount radiator and route hoses using hardware from kit as shown in fig. 2. Do NOT over tighten nuts on radiator mounting studs. (max torque is 13 ft. lbs.)
3. Remove side panel foam as shown in fig. 3. Position louver and mark location for hole with felt tip pen as in fig. 4. Cut out holes with hole saw or key hole saw. Install louver by positioning in hole and bending over tabs as in fig. 5.
4. Open bleeder valve on top of radiator and fill cooling system with 60/40 antifreeze water mix until coolant runs freely from bleeder valve. Close valve, start engine and run for 5 minutes with filler cap off. Shut off engine and let cool. Add more coolant if necessary and repeat this procedure until all air is removed from system. Test drive snowmobile and recheck for coolant leaks, coolant level, and loose mountings.
